Sea Lion Cave

This is the largest sea cave in the world. We just happen to stop by when all the seals were outside at the bottom of the cliff and I couldn't get a picture of them. The tour started at the main building where a pathway takes you to the elevator which carries you down 208 feet into the extraordinary multi-hued sea cave. It was definitely a trip worth taking even though we didn't get to see the seals in the cave. - Shirley

Formation of the cave began about 25 million years ago. It now soars to the height of a 12-story building and stretches to the length of a football field.
